The Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions has expanded the offerings of its popular Tiny Cubs Community Baby Shower and Sibling Event. The Tiny Cubs Boutique, in collaboration with Women of Influence, has launched this semester as a way to support University of North Alabama students who are expecting a baby by providing them with access to maternity clothing.
The University of North Alabama French Film Festival, in its eighth year, will begin March 3 with the 2024 release of Auction and conclude March 19 with 2022’s The Night of the 12th. The festival includes a total of six screenings, and admission is free to UNA faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.
The University of North Alabama’s Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions has received approval from the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship to serve as an apprenticeship sponsor for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing accelerated track.
University of North Alabama Senior Caroline Coleman, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., has been crowned Miss UNA at the Miss UNA program Saturday evening in Norton Auditorium on the UNA campus. Coleman will now move on to compete for the title of Miss Alabama at an event that will take place later this year. Coleman is a psychology major, and she performed a classical opera aria for the talent portion of the program.
